Expression of Interest - Executive Committee Member

Good afternoon,

Our Neighbourhood Watch Trelewis & Bedlinog District was established in 2021 and is a volunteer-led organisation working across our communities to support community safety, encourage community involvement and provide a range of projects, activities and opportunities for local residents.

As the organisation has grown, so too has the work involved in managing funded projects, reporting to funders and delivering activities for children, young people and families.

We are therefore inviting expressions of interest from members of the Trelewis & Bedlinog Neighbourhood Watch network who may be interested in joining our Executive Committee as a fifth member.

This is a voluntary role, and we are particularly interested in hearing from someone who can bring experience in areas such as:

• Grant funding and funding applications

• Monitoring, evaluation and reporting to funders

• Working with children and young people

• A relevant qualification in childcare, education, safeguarding, youth work or a related field

(Experience of governance, community organisations or project delivery would also be welcomed.)

The Executive Committee is responsible for the governance and oversight of the organisation, including funding, finances, project delivery and the allocation of resources.

If you are interested, please reply to this email with a short expression of interest outlining your relevant experience, skills and why you would like to join the Executive Committee.

Expressions of interest will be considered by the existing Executive Committee, and suitable candidates may also be invited to meet with committee members before a final appointment is made.
